Hum aur AAP(Aam Aadmi Party)

17 Jan

When I was a kid and got to know that the Britishers ruled and exploited us for almost 200 years I wanted to take revenge. Then I got to know about UN(read in some senior’s book that it’s the most powerful organization) and since I didn’t have full knowledge, I hatched a plan to get in to UN, become its head and then ordering England to be ruled by India.

Slowly I realized my mistake but by then I was disturbed by the corruption and misrule (probably because my government employee parents’ problem because of wrong transfer of my mom) and got to know that in one Lok Sabha election 4-5 actors won. Since I too wanted to become an actor(still waiting for “the elusive break” 😉 ) , I hatched another plan. I will make a group of celebrities, one each from every Lok Sabha seat and probably the star stuck people will vote for at least ¾ of them and since these guys would be least interested in governing, I will bring in new laws and send all the corrupt people behind the bars .

Whenever I read/see something about Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) I am reminded of my dream. It has created a group of people from anywhere and everywhere, somehow managed to catch the fancy of Delhi’s electorate  and is now governing Delhi. These people are so diverse (and may be opportunist too) that they joined the party without even knowing what it is all about. Capt. Gopinath(Deccan Air) accepted that he didn’t read the manifesto before joining the party.

Most of my friends and family(my sister has funded it too) have been supporting AAP all along. Somehow, I never liked the idea of AAP. It said it is a different party but I didn’t find it any different from the existing parties. Like all others

  1. It plays religion card.

Muslims: Ending harassment by police and prosecution of Muslim youth in false cases, improving functioning of Delhi wakf                    board.

Victims of 1984 Sikh massacre: Providing justice to victims of 1984 riots, re-opening wrongly closed cases, improving living                    conditions in areas like Tilak Nagar where many victims now live.

I think it would have been better if they said we will make police accountable for any wrong detention why only muslims???

    2. It tries to woo people from castes

Scheduled Castes:  Ensuring SC component plans is spent on welfare schemes for SCs and reservations implemented;                        providing low or zero-interest loans for setting up their livelihood.
Valmikis: Ending contractualisation in safai karamchari posts, providing educational and livelihood opportunities to help                        them find employment in fields other than those of safai karamcharis.

This is the same thing which has been said since our independence. I would have preferred if they had said we would work                   towards the betterment of economically weaker sections. I have seen thousands of “upper caste” people who are living in worse           conditions than many SC/STs.

  3.  It will form government with anyone’s support etc. I wish I had recorded the conversation I had with the auto rickshaw guy one day        before election(I was in Delhi) where I said in the last AAP and Congress will form government.

  4.  It will take populists measures without thinking their effect on economy(it gave subsidies).

  5.  Make false promises. I have seen and heard Arvind Kejriwal saying, koi agar aapke beech se chun ke aata hai toh who aapke            beech mein hi rahega koi bunglow etc nahi lega. Now, everyone knows what he actually wanted. Though I have never heard about        car but I am sure he would said that too and that’s why he travelled in Metro for his swearing in.

  6.  They said they won’t behave like VIPs by not taking Laal Battis but I don’t know what will one say about the actions of Somnath              Bharti who stops movie screening, asks police to raid without search warrant(though I never understood how come media was present when he went for a surprise visit at 12am) and many more.

Arvind Kejriwal(AK) used to shout from roof top that I have 370 page report on Shiela Dixit and now he is the CM and yet no action. Interestingly when he was caught on the wrong foot demanding two adjacent duplexes he said, “Maine Delhi government ko bol diya hai mere liye koi chhoti jagah dhoondhe”. The “Junta Darbar” which he promised and now cancelled has been arranged by many other CMs have been doing for long.

AK and his colleagues keep saying words which mean everything and everyone in the government is corrupt. I wonder what they have to say about his wife who is still a government employee. Is she corrupt too or that rule doesn’t apply here??? Interestingly, my cousin got a call on his number a night prior to voting(guess well after campaign should end) to vote for AAP and the girl was as well a typical AAP member, cynical about everything except AAP and went on to say all the government jobs are already fixed and a common man doesn’t get it. I asked her then how come Arvind Kejriwal and his wife became IRS, she disconnected.

When Shiela Dixit was in government and Nirbhaya case happened it was her mistake and yesterday a foreigner was raped and all AK had to do is repeat her statement, “Delhi Police is not under us.” How does the goalpost keep changing? Kumar Vishwas has compared Narendra Modi to Lord Shiva who drinks all the poison to keep others safe. Prashant Bhushan says we should hold referendum in Kashmir(thank God he wasn’t a minister otherwise it would have been a disaster for India at international level).

I have said this earlier and I guess I was right when I said AK is nothing else but a super ambitious person who will do anything to get in to power. Now, the only thing remaining is to see whether his ambition is to make country better(which he says) or it is for himself(which I have been feeling) and till now all his and party members actions point to the later.

I know most of you will be thinking why a lazy person like me made the effort to write all this but I am actually made to think by most of the people I meet as they still keep saying it’s a party with a difference and I am unable to find any difference. It said it’ll pass a strong Jan Lokpal(yes they rarely said Lok Ayukta) in 15 days. Today 15 working days are over and it is yet to utter a word on the same. I did all this so that someone points out what am I missing and I am convinced too. Its said there was a time when most of India was converted in to Buddhism and Shankarachaya would debate with people on religion on the condition that whoever looses will have to convert to the winner’s religion. May be I too get converted in to AAP fan( I think AAP is going through a Salman Khan phase where whatever they do will be super hit).

Few discussions on them:-

AAP apane raste se bhatak chuki hai. Aaj AAP kahin na kahin bhrashtachar ki janani Congress Party ka sath de rahi hai. AAP ke neta nahin janate ke Congress unahen isliye support kr rahi hai qunki wo 2014 men har halat men Modi ko sarkar banane se rokana chahati h. Use pata h AAP ko kabhi bhi hataya ja sakta h Modi ko nahin.

I have read your views because one of our mutual friend Karishma recommended, I thought one youth must be expressing happiness over change aap has shown but soon I realized it was different.

Few thought came across, How simple is it to question people who are trying to make change, how simple is it to get influenced by media (The matter of fact is most of our media is owned by corrupt politician and industrialist). Show me one government which has done so much after independence in short period of time. (They fulfilled almost 7 out of 18 promises they made).

AAP WILL TAKE ACTION AGAINST CONGRESS, they are fulfilling basic promises first, and then will attack soon because once they attack congress, they will remove support.

Anyways Kejriwal has answered every question raised by you, please watch this video.

I hope you get enlightened & spread thoughts to change this country.

Thank you for putting in the effort to read the article!

Now, coming to your point, I don’t find any “change” what so ever in this new party and this the sole reason I wrote it. They have asked for votes on basis of castes and religions, apart from corruption.

They said the bill will be passed in 15 days and its been more. They said there is a report and it just needs to be implemented and the electricity bill will come down by 50%. Why did they need the audit then?

Now, they say gave subsidies instead. Do you think Arvind Kejriwal and co will keep giving this from their own pocket or they’ll increase taxes to get it? I know they said as of now it’ll be funded by the amount govt have to recover from the discoms. Now, suppose you gave some money to me and you are unable to take it back. A friend of yours comes and says that he will recover the money and give to someone else. Is it a good plan?

Kejriwal is such a big opportunist that he went and asked a maulana to promote his party. When that maulana turned out to be controversial, he said he didn’t inquire about the maulana’s past. That one line describes him. That day only I said, HE WILL DO ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING TO GET IN POWER. After elections he proved me right by taking support from Congress. If I am not wrong, he will keep delaying (and fooling) people as late as possible that he will take action against Shiela Dixit but since they will withdraw support he wants to do all basic works(which are actually populist work and dangerous in long term) before that. Finally he wil order and inquiry whose result will not come before Lok Sabha elections. And I think anyone can guess the reason.

Also, will you approve if someone brings a minister to your house and says that it should be searched in middle of the night? Though I read that the women Somnath Bharti got tested for drugs gave negative result but even if there was such racket going on, isn’t it better if they cordoned off the area and waited till morning? And do you have any idea what will happed if the Nigerian govt pursues the matter of him using racial words? Search on Google how many gallons of petroleum we import from Nigeria. There has to be a method to madness.

You are right news channels are owned by politicians and coporates but surprisingly Somant Bharti could gather all of them for a “surprise” visit. I am sorry to say this but its AAP which is living by the media these days. No actual governance just media hype.

In point 1 and 2 you have said about regional and caste score card…I really doubt your source, I read their manifesto, website couldn’t find this reference. If some party member has said this, I would say people across fields have come to join and expressed their views, its a democratic party. Should you count individual personal views as party views.
AAP is discussing with all key leaders and social organisation about policies and they will roll out final policies soon. I think we should wait for their policies to be formally declared and then have debate.

Lets us be honest in saying that congress forcibly gave their support and said go fulfill promise or accept your Defeat. If they would have rejected their support and lost to opportunity to showcase what they can do, wouldnt people like me and you questioned that “Paani ka bulbulaa tha, Hawa ke saath chu Hogaya”.

Electricity & water is basic human right, few crores spent is ok, let few poor and middle class enjoy perks of Independent country. Its nothing compared to 1500 crores spent by NSG on protecting top leaders and 10000cr on CWG games.

“What is important here is that electricity, water, audit was mentioned in their manifasto, People of Delhi voted for this promises, and if he implements those, so where is the problem, he did for what people voted him for.

In incidence of Somnath Bharti, The whole of Delhi, knows what was happening in that area, India news had already exposed . I totally agree with you that what Somnath did…was not the best way…we need to be sensitive of this issue. But same time I dont know a better way to deal with corrupt police. Opposition have influenced suspects to take political advantage, Shinde sahab(Home Minister) ke upar ungli uti hain, police unki jeb main hain, Koi majal hain jo une koi bol sake. He will use all his influence.

Bill will also come, they will also expose Sheila Dixit, they are superb in banging on right time. Wait and watch. He will not order inquiry. He will come out with solid proofs, inside proofs. Yes you are right inquiry may not complete before election, but he will give proof to people before election, cases would be filled or will be in process across Sheila Dixit Governement “15 saala ka kachara hain, aise hi nahi niklega”, do you think people would support congress then.

About media Hype, I would like repeat words “They have won not because of media, but Despite media” All news channels had stopped showcasing them after forming party when he exposed Reliance, still they went to every locality of Delhi and formed their base .

Ajj media unke baare main likh rahi hain kyuki, Haar koi roj sunna chatha hain Delhi main kya chal raha, Ajj Minister Sahab ne kis ki Band bajayii, Ajj kisne kichaad feka. Look how terrified congress and BJP is. and yes they know how to take media help, to showcause India, what happens when educated/enlighten person can do when he comes to power.

Some mistakes are made, I personally think Nigeria issue should be taken seriously, considering people sentiments.

They need some time and support. Itne time corrupt logo ko vote diya, ek chance toh dekaar dekte hain, Patha nahi chamaatkar hojaye “Its a calculated Risk which India is Taking”. There swaraj concept in unique, which no political party talks, coined by father of nation, you must read it.

My friend there is a thin line between trust and blind faith and I guess you too have crossed that. For a reality check please see the screen shot and if you still dont believe you can go to

If you mentioned CWG for its scam then I am afraid if 4 months down the line a similar agreement is struck between AAP and Cong then the scam would be buried for sure as is Shiela Dixit’s. Arvind Kejriwal said he has the proof against her which runs in to 370 pages. Dont know how and why you are saying he needs to unearth the proofs now.

Otherwise even a commuinst country like Russia understands the value of hosting such events as they showcase the country and increase the tourist in flow.

You are right about them being the master in timing but wrong in assessing their intentions. They do that to garner votes and to take actions. If he intended to take action he should have gone ahead right away.

Lastly, I didnt understand why did you mention Sushil Shinde here, Whatever may be the reason, two wrongs do not make the lesser wrong less evil. And in anycase, my purpose of writing this was not to prove any one right or wrong, I just wanted to know how come everyone is saying AAP is different where as I dont find any difference.
